I have been there twice both times the staff was very friendly and the food was very delicious

Lemon Ricotta pancakes were delicious and my husband said the corned beef hash was the best he ever had. Our waitress judy was friendly snd on spot! Definitely recommend stopping by.

A surprisingly elegant atmosphere inside! I expected it to look like a diner but it was much nicer. The food and service are excellent! A gem of a local casual restaurant I will definitely return to. They should post the menu online though... Also include in your listing this is a BYOB restaurant (bring your own wine/beer).

I travel all over New England regularly and will drive an hour or more out of my way to come here. They dont have one or 2 great items, everything on the menu is amazing. Homemade hash, fresh everything and decent service. A little slower than average, but thats Maine! go here and try it

The food and service is excellent they never disappoint. The portions are large, so be prepared to take some home. The chicken parmesan is very good. All in all Mike's is a good restaurant and very reasonably priced.

Pan fried shrimp was abbdsoultly delicious. Nice portion.

the corn beef hash is so good, most places it is super salty and it takes away from the hash, now this place makes the best hash and eggs if i could rate them a ten i sure would.. i will never go anywhere else for my birthday breakfast.the service is also top quality really friendly waiter/waitress's. if you want a good great time pick mike diner

I want to say the food was great, but what we didn’t appreciate is our server’s(Deb) attitude and lack of attention. Deb was walking around on the phone and ignoring most of her tables which we found very rude. By the time we were sat on a busy Sunday morning we had 10 minutes to look over the menu before we were asked what we wanted to drink we were told by our waitress she had to wait for another table to order before we could which was the table who sat down a few minutes after us. We at one point had to ask another waitress (Marina) who was helping multiple tables but doing a great job to see if someone could get us some water. We will go back one more time and only sit with Marina and see if we change our mind about this establishment.

My husband and I love Mike's. It's the closest restaurant to where we live, and they have good breakfasts and a friendly, accommodating staff. We go there often. Our only complaint is that their hostess is slow and inefficient. I would replace her if I could, with someone who knows what they're doing, or if she must work there, I'd make her job smaller.

The food is always great. They might need a few more servers and people busing tables though. Service was slow and disjointed. Went back a 2nd time to see if it was a 1 off thing, nope. Food is 4 star the service is 2 star.

My first visit was nothing less than a hot mess. Marina was totally rude and unprofessional verbally to me and my family. The wait time was extremely long..and the thin waitress was rude and had a terrible attitude...food was good. Then the owner came in...Attitudes changed and service improved...we had Deb for our waitress...she was good...friendly and attentive...I asked Mike for a moment when he had a chance. In less than 5 minutes he sat down and listened to me and my family. Mike was amazing and really understood us. When we paid our bill, Mike invited us back and left us a gift certificate... The next day we did return. Mike arranged for us to be treated as VIP's. And it was amazing. We definitely recommend you visit his restaurant, the food is really good...but now that he has brought a few issues to his employees attention...I know you'll have an amazing dining experience ..so CK his place out

Stopped here after going through Kennebunkport. We were planning on eating in Kennebunkport but couldn't find any parking. That place looked like a tourist trap! So glad we kept driving and found Mike's. This was a cozy little diner. My husband has eggs Benedict and hash. I had the BLT and fries. Our food was delicious! If you are in the area stop by!

Friendly staff and great french toast. I also very much so like that they have real working air conditioning. I hate it when I come into restaurants in Maine and there is no AC. Global warming ppl. It's getting hot up here in the summer and a business needs ac. Mike's gets it.

All American menu! I had the fried haddock sandwich - delicious! My friends had the haddock chowder - equally delicious!

The staff completely ignored forgot and just left us to take care of ourselves! It's not like we were in a hidden corner. When we got there the table was only set up for two and there was there was three of us, they never did bring all of the place setting. We could not get refills. We saw our waitress when we ordered , brought the good out and when she brought the bill. She never bothered to check to see how everything was or anything. We will not go back and I'd suggest others skip this place as well

Great food! Cheap too! BYO beer and wine. A little cramped seating where we were that is the only reason I gave 4 stars

We went there today and Marina made us feel like we were family. Had excellent food for breakfast, lemon ricotta pancakes, corn beef hash and eggs, chicken with gravy and biscuits. Everyone was very pleased with the service and the meal. We will definitely return

A bit of a wait, but worth it... Good portion sizes..... Nice for families....

I only go to this place with my grandparents. The food didn't really do it for me and the service was slow. Best restaurant in the immediate vicinity. The wait staff is nice but the kitchen is sluggish.

Great atmosphere, fun, comfortable and inviting. My food was perfectly delicious and served hot and timely. The staff I dealt with and observed was pleasant, friendly and gracious. I would definitely go again if in that area.

If I was forced to pick one item that stands out, it's definitely the corned beef hash. We've tried the vast majority of the other breakfast options around (Mel's and Congdons are runners up for second), but this hash reigns supreme.Luckily I'm not forced to choose one particular item. The buttermilk chicken is also to die for, whether you prefer it over a biscuit, smothered in sausage gravy; or rather on the dinner menu as a sandwich that you will struggle to eat in one sitting. Seriously...I could not finish a sandwich. It's clear that there have been some new additions to the waitstaff, but let's be frank- if you're pleasant, keep the coffee coming, and don't spill the food all over me, you'll have a bright future. Mike's is a winner over and over. Extremely happy I took a shot in the dark about a year back and tried the diner next to the gas station.

Super quick service, friendly staff, great diner food. Not a great view or anything but a comfortable place to get guality food at a decent price (omelette plate was $9)

A friend and I had breakfast at Mike's. The food was excellent, the service good and our food arrived fairly quickly. I enjoyed the decor of the diner but can't help but wonder if it might be noisy at peak dining times. I found it interesting to learn Mike's is a Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) diner. You bring the booze and buy needed mixers from them.

Just had lunch with family, the staff was great, very polite and courteous, the food was prepared guickly and to perfection, I would recommend this diner to anyone who wants a great meal at an affordable price

There's indoor seating and outdoor seating. We sat on the outside and it was wonderful. Staff is great atmosphere was wonderful and the food was good. It was a nice surprise

The waitress we had seemed to have an attitude problem until I asked to talk to who was in charge then her attitude got better but other then that the food was great at a very reasonable price and the guy who seated us was great...very sociable and friendly...a lot better then our waitress

Our food and the service have always been excellent. They have wonderful breakfasts. I love the liver and onions dinner; it is well made and covered in bacon! The fish chowder is excellent. We are local and highly recommend eating here!

Your delivery service is awesome. The young lady taking our orders and processing of the payment and delivery is awesome. When you place your order they include tax, deivery, tip, and price of your order all at once...no human contact when they deliver the order. Your Fish Chowder and pies are to die for. Thank you so much😉

Had the chicken fingers and Cajun fries which where good. About what you expect at a diner. Pricey though. The husband had liver and onions with just one piece of liver and it was $16... Haven't tried breakfast yet, but looks alright

Mike's America Diner the service is good!! The food is always delicious!!! We've had breakfast, lunch and supper meals here we love the corned beef hash I think it has the best corned beef hash out of anyone my husband loves their squash their haddock chowdah is really good to!!

Breakfast was great. The coffee is very good diner coffee, not bitter at all. Prices are reasonable and service was fast and friendly.

The waiting time can sometimes be long but it is definitely worth if. Almost anything I have had including the breakfast sandwich and chicken sausage and gravy are always on point and delicious l. The staff is always friendly and checks up on you regularly. And if you disagree you must be a out of towner.

We had to eat outside but everything was just perfect..Can't complain about nothing.

Very disappointed!We were told to expect a 10 minute wait, but after 45 minutes and several "locals" were seated as they walked in... we ended up finding fast food.Not the country friendly treatment I would give 3 senior citizens.And speaking of seniors... handicap access is very limited.We travel from Mass to Bangor often, but this is a place we will pass by.

Great food and great service! It always looks busy when we drive by, so today we decided we would give it a try... 100% worth it!

We visited Mike's about 2:30 on a Saturday, right between the lunch and dinner crowds. Nice layout of the restaurant, a long high table with a TV that look comfortable to sit at. The staff was very friendly and attentive, but since it was slow they let us enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. My wife and I both had the fish and fries sandwich which was deliciously made with a light batter.
